Yankees Complete Sweep of Mariners with Extra Inning Walk-Off

Aaron Judge’s 10th inning walk-off sacrifice fly gave the New York Yankees a come-from-behind 6-5 win, and a series sweep of the Seattle Mariners last (Thur) night in the Bronx.

Jorge Polanco hit a three-run homer and Cole Young added two hits and a run-batted-in for the Mariners.

All-Star Bryan Woo pitched well, but got a no decision. The M’s right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits with 5 strikeouts over 7 1/3 innings.

Seattle will look to bounce back when they open a three-game weekend series tonight (Fri) in Detroit against the Tigers. The first pitch is set for 4:10 this (Fri) afternoon from Comerica Park with live radio coverage in the LC Valley on 95.5 FM and AM 950 KOZE and in the upper Clearwater Valley on AM 1300 KLER.
