Aaron Judge’s 10th inning walk-off sacrifice fly gave the New York Yankees a come-from-behind 6-5 win, and a series sweep of the Seattle Mariners last (Thur) night in the Bronx.
Jorge Polanco hit a three-run homer and Cole Young added two hits and a run-batted-in for the Mariners.
All-Star Bryan Woo pitched well, but got a no decision. The M’s right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits with 5 strikeouts over 7 1/3 innings.
Seattle will look to bounce back when they open a three-game weekend series tonight (Fri) in Detroit against the Tigers.
