A manufactured home along with a shed and an outbuilding were destroyed by a fire late yesterday (Tue) afternoon in Clarkston.
The blaze was reported just after 5 p.m. near the intersection of Elm and 16th streets. Crews from the Asotin Count Fire District along with both the Clarkston and Lewiston Fire Departments, Wheatland Fire Protection District, Clearwater Paper Fire Department and Nez Perce County Fire Department all responded. Firefighters were on scene for several hours extinguishing hots spots and mopping up.
Officials say the fire probably started on a property along Elm Street, and then burned south toward Chestnut Street.
There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
