Two accidents snarled traffic this afternoon on Riverside Drive in Asotin County. Deputies, medics, and firefighters rushed to the first at Critchfield Road. Two people were taken to the hospital in what responders called a “high-impact, t-bone collision”. Traffic coming down Critchfield was sent back up while crews tended to the injured.
Deputies and firefighters left that accident and went straight to another just north at the intersection with 13th Street. A collision there left both cars’ occupants unhurt, but sent one vehicle up the embankment toward a storage unit fence and the other with front-end damage.
