The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a wanted person who fled from law enforcement on Tuesday at about 8pm.
40 year-old Justin Lee Rock currently has three outstanding warrants in Nez Perce County. One is a felony warrant for witness intimidation with a $250,000 bond and the others are misdemeanor warrants for stalking and domestic battery. Total bond is $260,500.
According to a news release from the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office, Rock was located camping on Red Bird beach on the Snake River. When law enforcement attempted to arrest him he fled on foot into a canyon and disappeared into thick brush. Law enforcement searched for Rock for several hours but were unsuccessful in locating him.
Rock was last seen wearing yellow swim trunks a gray shirt and no shoes, in the area of Red Bird Beach in Nez Perce County. Anyone who may know of his location or sees him in the area is encouraged to contact The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office at (208) 799-3131 or call 911.
