Just before 7:30pm yesterday, a new wildfire was reported by the National Interagency Fire Center. It’s termed the “Center Canyon Fire”. They originally estimated its size at 20 acres. At 8:00 this morning it was updated to 56 acres. It’s in Idaho County, west of Grangeville and south of Cottonwood. At this time there is no estimation on any containment or when resources will be deployed to fight it.
