The Potlatch-Deltic Corporation will begin re-construction work on the 247 road beginning Monday, July 7th.
The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests will be issuing a closure order that will apply to all but industrial and administrative traffic. To avoid this road closure, the public should use the Brown’s Rock detour. Forest users should anticipate an additional 30-40 minutes of travel time between Headquarters and Aquarius Campground during the closure.
According to the North Fork Ranger District, road reconstruction work is anticipated to last through the end of August.
