Idaho County Deputies arrested 57-year-old Richard German after he allegedly came close to hitting three people in Riggins Sunday. A witness says German’s Dodge Durango was driving recklessly on Main Street when it drove up on the sidewalk where the three people were walking. The witness said they had to jump off the sidewalk into the bushes to avoid being run over. The Durango then followed the three into the alleyway.
Deputies obtained an arrest warrant and took Richard German into custody on three county of felony aggravated assault. There’s no word on why it happened.
