
Mitch Garver’s 12th inning 2-run home run was the difference as the Seattle Mariners beat the Texas Rangers 6-4 yesterday (Sun) at Globe Life Field.
Randy Arozarena added two hits and scored three runs for the M’s.
On the mound, Seattle’s Luis Castillo had a no decision – allowing one run on 7 hits with 4 strikeouts over his 6 inning start. Trent Thornton picked up his second win of the season with 2 innings of relief.
The Mariners won the series 2 games to 1.
