Idaho Fish & Game is pulling the plug on Chinook salmon fishing on parts of the Clearwater River this coming Friday. They already closed it for fishing on the lower Salmon River yesterday, June 9th.
Clearwater River fishing will be closed on the mainstem Clearwater River from Cherrylane Bridge to Orofino Bridge and on the North Fork Clearwater River.
Chinook fishing remains open four days a week, Thursday through Sunday, on the Little Salmon River.
