You don’t need to make an appointment to get a Star Card in Clearwater County. The Idaho Transportation Department says the office in Orofino is now taking walk-in service. Most offices require scheduled appointments.
Monday through Wednesday, the office at 2200 Michigan Avenue is open from 7:00am to 5:00pm. On Thursdays they close at 4:30pm and the office is closed Friday through Sunday.
To get your Star Card, you’ll need to take some specific documents showing Idaho residency. You can find the list at itd.idaho.gov/starcard.
