A trip up the Lewiston Hill on Highway 95 will take a little longer starting tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.
The Idaho Transportation Department has crews working on the fencing that keeps rocks from rolling into the roadway. Crews will also be knocking down unstable rocks before they fix the fence. The work starts at 6am every day and runs until 6pm while the project is underway.
It will likely take about 2 weeks to finish.
While crews are there, uphill traffic will be down to one lane and slowed to 45 miles per hour. Downhill traffic will not be affected.
The repairs will cost about $157,000. You can check on the project at any time at 511.idaho.gov.
