Idaho County Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for a missing Montana man who may have drowned in the Lochsa River. A press release says dispatch got a 911 call yesterday afternoon about the 68-year-old man, saying he was missing and possibly had drowned near the Wilderness Gateway Campground off Highway 12. He was last seen around 1:30pm.

Deputies, Posse members, their K9, Three Rivers Rafting, and volunteers searched yesterday unsuccessfully and will continue searching the area again. They’re on the ground, in the water, and using a drone. The Nez Perce County Dive Team is responding today to see if conditions allow them to dive.
