If you missed the last boating safety course, another one is coming up soon. The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a free course in Lewiston. It’s coming up June 22nd from 8am to 2pm at the Sheriff’s Office. That’s at 1150 Wall Street in Lewiston.
They encourage all boaters, regardless of experience, to take a safety class to learn about Idaho boating laws and to pick up safety tips. They say it’s great for families so kids and adults can safely operate a boat. You may even be eligible for an insurance discount once you’ve taken the class.
To register, contact deputy Derrick Wilkinson. Seating is limited, so they recommend you register as soon as possible.
