The Idaho Transportation Department is warning that a trip between Moscow and Lewiston could take longer next week. Wednesday and Thursday crews will be working to install new bridge girders at Thorn Creek.
Travel both directions will stop completely every time they install a new girder. Girders are the large, horizontal beams that support the bridge deck.
Flaggers will be in place to keep traffic moving. They’ll allow traffic to flow in one direction at a time between closures.
