The Nez Perce County Fairgrounds is busy today. It’s full of kids and interested adults who want to know more about public works. Groups like Avista, Asotin County PUD, Clearwater Composting, and more gave kids a lesson about what happens behind the scenes to make daily life easier. It also teaches how our activities affect the environment.
Kids went through a series of displays and information booths picking up hard hats, vests, and other imitation safety devices.
The expo runs until 2:00 this afternoon.
