Play begins tomorrow (Fri) for the 68th Avista NAIA World Series at Lewiston’s Harris Field.
Day one features four games starting with #4 seed, and defending national champion Hope International of California facing #7 seed Cumberlands of Kentucky at 8:30 a.m.
Game two will pair top-seed and undefeated Louisiana State-Shreveport against #10 seed Grand View of Iowa at 11:45 a.m.
#2 seed Georgia Gwinnett will open the tournament at 3:00 p.m. when they square-off with #9 seed British Columbia of Canada.
The final Day one game features #3 seed Tennessee Wesleyan and first-time World Series qualifier Loyola of Louisiana at 6:30 p.m.
The other two teams – #5 seed Webber International of Florida will meet fellow Sun Conference member and #6 seed Southeastern of Florida Saturday morning at 11.
