The Idaho National Guard will hold its annual Memorial Day Dedication ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Mountain Time tomorrow (Wed) at Gowen Field Memorial Park in Boise. The event honors those who have served and paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation.
The ceremony includes a multi-service color guard, singing of the National Anthem by the Idaho Army National Guard 550 Chordsmen, a helicopter flyover, a cannon salute by the Idaho Military History Museum and the playing of Taps on bugle by Sgt. 1st Class Michael Robinette of the 25th Army Band. Idaho Army National Guard Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Jenkins is the event’s keynote speaker.
