The Lewiston softball team just beat Burley 8-6. They’re competing in Nampa, ID at the state championships. Ava Thorson, Jenna Barney, and Ashland Schnell all homered for the Bengals. Ashland Schnell picked up the win, pitching in relief.
They move on to the semi-final game this afternoon at 3:45. If they win, they’ll play in the final game at 11:15. If they lose, they’ll play tomorrow morning at 9:00. Either way, they’re guaranteed at least 3rd place in the state.
