
Lewis-Clark State College has a new Vice President for Finance and Administration. Chris Jones is the new V.P. He’s currently the vice president of budget and planning at Washington State University.
A release from LCSC says he brings more than 15 years of public budgeting, financial management, and policy development experience along with regional higher education experience.
LC State President Cynthia Pemberton said “Our institution is thriving and we feel Chris has the perfect background and skillset to help us continue to advance our mission and serve students well.”
Jones remarked “I’m excited to become part of the LC State community and to support the continued success of the institution and the students it serves.”
Jones has worked in the budget office at WSU since 2017 in various roles. Before that he was a state budget analyst for seven University of North Carolina system campuses.
He starts his new job July 1st.
