Officer Cassidy White earned the Nez Perce Tribal Police Officer of the Year today. White is the K9 officer for the Tribal Police Department. A release from the department says “White is widely respected for his deep commitment to community well-being, especially his work with local youth.”
Every year, he’s known to dress up his K9, named Monta, as Santa Claus to deliver gifts to kids at the local children’s home. Outside of work, he serves as president of the local American Warfighters. That’s a non-profit organization supporting local veterans in need.
