If you need to get rid of old tires and garbage in Garfield County, your opportunity is coming up.
May 17th is Amnesty Day. That means Naslund Disposal will be there with Garfield County to take rimless tires, appliances, and household waste.
Things they will not take are combine/truck tires, hazardous waste like paint, and construction debris. That’s at the Old Rock Pit off Gould City-Mayview Road. It runs from 8am – 2pm.
The 17th is also Clean Up Day. They’re looking for volunteers to help clean up spots around town that need help. If you’d like to be there, meet at the Senior Center at 9am.
