We’re starting to get days approaching 90 degrees, but the Asotin County Emergency Management is warning swimmers that the river might not be your best option for cooling down.
They caution you that swimming in water below 70 degrees carries the risk of hypothermia. The Snake River is about 52 degrees during the day right now.
