The group behind LC Valley Youth Resource Center hopes you’ll donate during the Idaho Gives campaign.
“Most of our kids who age out of our Youth Resource Center are aging out back into unhealthy circumstances.”
Michelle King is President of the group helping kids who need a safe space to sleep, eat, or just hang out after school doing homework. She says the plan is now to branch out and create a small village for the kids who turn 18 and still don’t have a safe place to be.
“What we’ve learned is that the housing situation has made it such where there’s nobody renting to 18 year-olds. Especially 18 year-olds that are still in high school, don’t have a job, and don’t have credit.”
That’s why she and the rest of the team hope you’ll consider them for your donations this year in Idaho Gives. We’ve set up a link to the site below.
