Mariners Take Series with Win Over Marlins

Jorge Polanco had three hits and drove in two runs and J.P. Crawford and Cal Raleigh both homered as the Seattle Mariners beat the Miami Marlins 7-6 yesterday (Sun) to win their three-game series in Seattle.

On the mound, starter Logan Evans picked up his first win of the season. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits with 3 strikeouts over 5 innings and Closer Andres Munoz threw a no-hit 9th inning to secure his 10th save of the year.

The Mariners have today (Mon) off before opening a two-game series at home with the Los Angeles Angels beginning tomorrow (Tue) night at T-Mobile Park.
