Idaho gas prices didn’t fluctuate much last week.

According to the American Automobile Association, the average price for a gallon of regular in the Gem State is around $3.30, about a penny less than a week ago and four cents less than a month ago, but 63 cents cheaper than a year ago.

The national average currently sits at $3.14 per gallon, which is half a penny less than a week ago, a penny less than a month ago, and 51 cents cheaper than a year ago. Idaho still ranks 10th in the U.S. for the most expensive fuel.

According to AAA, one of the biggest contributors to lower gas prices has been the falling cost of crude oil. The West Texas Intermediate benchmark for crude is currently trading near $62 per barrel. That’s about 50 cents per barrel less than a week ago, $7 less than a month ago, and about $20 less than a year ago.

Of Idaho’s most populated cities, Boise and Idaho Falls have the lowest-average price for gallon of gas in Idaho at $3.24, while Lewiston continues to have the state’s highest-average price at $3.36.
