
The Lewis-Clark State baseball team returned to the NAIA National Top-25 Poll this week.
The 22nd ranked Warriors have won 9 straight games and are now 28-10 on the year, and are in first place in the Cascade Conference.
Undefeated Louisiana State – Shreveport remains the top-ranked team followed by Georgia Gwinnett, defending national champion Hope International of California, Tennessee Wesleyan and Reinhardt of Georgia round out the top-5.
LC is the only Cascade Conference team represented in the rankings – though the University of British Columbia is receiving votes.
The Warriors open a four-game conference series this weekend in Springfield, Oregon against Bushnell. Doubleheaders are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday with live radio coverage of all four games in the LC Valley on 95.5 FM and AM 950 KOZE and streaming free online here.
