
50 student-athletes from LC State earned the Academic All-Cascade Conference honors. The Conference announced the awards today. To earn recognition, a student-athlete must have a minimum grade point average of 3.2, be at least a sophomore, and have been with the college for at least two full semesters.
There were 17 Warriors who earned it from men’s track and field, 10 from women’s track and field, 12 baseball players, 6 men’s golfers, and 5 women’s gofers.
Local students who worked to earn the award include: Kobe Wessels, Emily Collins, Jennah Carpenter, and Madigan Kelly from Lewiston, Haylee Appleford from Asotin, Chase Caruso from Pomeroy, Tristin O’Brien and Myah Parsons from Moscow, London Kirk from Deary, Sydnie Zywina from Orofino, and Grace Tiegs from Nezperce,
