Williams Named Principal at Sacajawea Middle School

Corey Williams has been appointed as the new principal at Sacajawea Middle School in Lewiston and will take over July 1st for the 2025-2026 school year.

According to a news release from the Lewiston School District, Williams, who has served as assistant principal at Sacajawea for the past two years, is known for his dedication to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students, staff, and

families. 

Williams began his career in education as a teacher and coach and holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Eastern Washington University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho.  Prior to his time at Sacajawea, Williams spent the past fourteen years at Lewiston High School, ten of those years as the assistant principal and athletic director.

He replaces Tim Sperber, who has been selected to be the district’s new Superintendent.
