The Sergeant Major Linehan Detachment of the Marine Corps League in Lewiston invites the public to celebrate the 249th United States Marine Corps Birthday.
The birthday ball will be held at the Holiday Inn in Clarkston this Saturday. According to a news release, the event features customs, courtesies and traditions as officials honor the Marine Corps and celebrate 249 years of service to America.
It is a formal event and attendees are asked to dress to impress. Military members are encouraged to wear their dress uniforms. Tickets can be purchased online here.
