The Lewiston High School volleyball team split its two matches on the road against Lakeland last (Thur) night in Rathdrum in the district tournament.
The Bengals took the first match in five sets by scores of 25-22, 19-25, 25-23, 17-25 and 15-11. The Hawks bounced back to win the second match in four sets by scores of 25-20, 25-13, 20-25 and 25-19.
With the split, the Bengals will face the Hawks in a winner-take-all match tomorrow (Sat) night in Rathdrum for the district championship and a berth into the Idaho State 5-A Volleyball Tournament October 31-November 2 at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls.
