Nearlyl 800 Avista customers in Orofino, Pierce, Weippe, and the surrounding areas will experience a power outage starting at 6 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m. on
September 28.
Customers who will be impacted will be notified directly.
During the outage, Avista will be replacing aging power poles and equipment in the area.
No road closures are expected during the outage time.
