The University of Idaho’s Andrew Marshall’s breakout punt return performance, which included his first-career touchdown Saturday has earned him Big Sky Player of the Week honors.
Marshall tallied three returns for 82 yards, including a 47-yard touchdown in the second quarter that put Idaho up 27-3 over then 17th ranked Albany.
The performance pushed Marshall to seventh in the Football Championship Subdivsion in yards per return and he is one of 13 players in the FCS who has returned a punt for a touchdown.
Marshall also added two tackles on the game.
The 4th ranked Vandals will be on the road in Texas this weekend to play 23rd ranked Abilene Christian.
