
Akil Baddoo’s pinch-hit, 10th inning double completed a comeback and the Detroit Tigers rallied to beat the Seattle Mariners 3-2 last (Wed) night at Comerica Park.
Jorge Polanco and Julio Rodriguez each had runs-scoring singles for the Mariners.
On the mound, Bryan Woo was outstanding but didn’t qualify for a decision. The M’s righthander didn’t allow any runs on 4 hits with 6 strikeouts over an impressive 7 inning start.
Seattle will look to avoid being swept today (Thur) in the final game of the three-game series.
