Two Injured in Rollover Crash on State Highway 14 Southeast of Grangeville

GRANGEVILLE, ID—The Idaho State Police is investigating an injury crash that occurred this afternoon at 3:03 p.m. An 85-year-old Boise man was driving a 2008 Ford F350 pickup pulling an enclosed trailer when he hit a large rock. He was traveling westbound on State Highway 14 at milepost 16.6, approximately 26 miles southeast of Grangeville.

“The vehicle struck a large rock on the right side of the road causing the driver to lose control and overturn the pickup.  The pickup landed on its top blocking both lanes of travel.  Extrication was needed to remove the driver and the passenger, an 85-year-old female from Boise, ID,” ISP says.

Both occupants were transported to a local hospital by ambulance.  The highway was blocked for approximately 3.5 hours.

The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho County Fire and EMS, and Idaho Transportation Department assisted with the incident.
