The deadline is approaching for organizations and non-profits in the area to submit requests for large Impact Grants of $25,000 to $100,000 through the Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation.

The foundation funds grants to promote the health, wellness, or disease prevention of persons within a three-state, nine-county area: Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis and Nez Perce counties in Idaho; Asotin, Garfield and Whitman counties in Washington; and Wallowa County in Oregon.

Priority is given to applicants that demonstrate a commitment to long-term vision and projects that address the root causes that affect health, improve wellness, and help prevent disease.

Grant applications can be for capital expenditures or operating expenses as well as for existing or new programs that are within the nine-county area. The deadline to submit requests is July 31.

Starting in August, the Board of Community Advisors to the Foundation will review the Impact Grant applications and make grant award recommendations to the Trustee. The Trustee will notify the organizations that are selected for funding prior to November 15.

For more information on the Foundation or the grant process, visit the Foundation’s website or contact Idaho Trust Bank at 208-664-6448.
