Mariners Lose 6th Straight Series in Loss to Blue Jays

George Springer hit a 3-run homer and Daulton Varsho delivered an RBI single in the 10th inning as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Seattle Mariners 5-4 in 10 innings yesterday (Sun) at T-Mobile Park.

Mitch Garver homered and drove in 3 and Victor Robles hit his first homerun for the Mariners, who have lost 6 straight series since mid-June.

George Kirby got a no decision for Seattle. The righthander allowed 3 runs on 7 hits with 8 strikeouts over six innings.

The Mariners have today (Mon) off before traveling to San Diego tomorrow for the first of two games with the Padres at Petco Park.
