CLARKSTON, WA – Mutual aid crews have been released and the fire is in mop-up at 5:47 p.m.
Fire crews were dispatched to a reported wildland fire at 3:06 p.m. west of the Asotin County Landfill. LC Valley News’ Michael Ringle is on the scene and will be providing updates. A bulldozer and helicopter are being utilized to help stop the fire, which is being whipped by windy conditions. Mutual Aid has also been called to assist Asotin County Fire District #1 crews. Evans Road is partially closed to through traffic.
