Lewiston Police Identify Driver in Thain Road Hit-and-Run

Lewiston Police have identified the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that damaged a traffic pole Friday morning on Thain Road and 10th Street in Lewiston.

According to a news release, Jeremy Hauck was issued two misdemeanor citations for striking fixtures and one misdemeanor citation for failing to notify police of the collision.

The crash caused the stoplights to lose power for several hours before crews made repairs.

Officers found an unoccupied pickup involved in the accident at a different location. The driver was not located at the time but the vehicle was impounded.
