Man Arrested After Alleged Stabbing in Lewiston

LEWISTON,  ID – A 20-year-old Lewiston man was arrested earlier today after he allegedly stabbed another man. Torquil E. McIntosh was booked into the Nez Perce County Adult Detention Center on one charge of Aggravated Battery.

According to a press release from the Lewiston Police Department, officers responded to a report of a man who had been stabbed at a residence in the 200 block of South Garden Court at about 7:56 a.m.

Officers detained McIntosh at the scene upon arrival and then assisted detectives in interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence.

“The victim, a 32-year-old Lewiston man, was transported to St. Joseph Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries,” LPD says.

McIntosh was transported to the Lewiston Police Department for an interview and subsequently arrested for Aggravated Battery.
