The American Automobile Association is predicting near record numbers of travelers over the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend.
Matthew Conde with AAA-Idaho says an estimated 262,000 Idahoans are expected to travel 50 miles or more from home over the extended weekend.
While gasoline prices remain high nationwide, motorists have seen prices level out over the past few weeks.
Travelers are advised to have their vehicles inspected prior to leaving home, and be sure to include emergency provisions along with jumper cables and a flashlight in the event of a breakdown.
