Lewiston’s Cody Ray dominated on his way to a complete game shutout win as the Bengal baseball team eliminated Post Falls 2-0 in the district tournament yesterday (Tue) at Church Field.
The Bengals advance and will meet Coeur d’Alene on the road tomorrow (Thur) in Coeur d’Alene. The first pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. with live coverage in the LC Valley on The River 105.1 FM and streaming free online at bengalsports.com.
Meanwhile, Jenna Barney homered in both games and the Bengal softball team split two games in their district tournament.
LHS beat Lake City 10-1, but fell 7-4 to Coeur d’Alene. Ava Thorson added a homer in the win over Lake City.
The Bengals will host Post Falls in a district tournament elimination game tomorrow at 4 p.m. in Lewiston.
