The Clarkston School District capital levy has officially passed after being certified.
The levy passed 53 percent to 46 percent. A total of 4,430 votes were cast with an election turnout of 37%.
The levy will collect funds for infrastructure, safety and health improvements for the district. The levy rate will be $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for property owners.
The levy will run from 2025-27. The total amount collected through 2027 will be nearly $5.9 million.
