Travelers using US Highway195 who use the Horn School Rest Area will need to use alternate rest areas during travel due to nearby utility work.
Crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the rest area on 6 a.m. and 2 p.m., today (Mon) while crews with Inland Power & Light perform nearby utility pole work that will require them to cut power to the rest area.
During the closure, transportation department maintenance crews will also be making repairs to the bathroom floors. With the rest area closed, drivers will not have access to the rest area and will need to find an alternate location.
