LC State Women’s Track and Field Rated in USTFCCCA Top 20

LC State Women’s Track and Field is rated No. 20 in the NAIA in the latest edition of the USTFCCCA Track and Field Rating Index, released on Wednesday. The Warriors accumulated 112.65 points and hold three top-10 event rankings.

Kea Stieglitz and Madigan Kelly each hold top-five rankings to lead the program in points. Stieglitz earned 23.95 with her No. 5 mark in the javelin (42.30m) and Kelly ranks fifth in the 100m hurdles (13.87) and 13th in the 400m hurdles (1:03.22) for a total of 32.57 points.

Sydnie Zywina brought in 17.56 points with her No. 8 mark in the triple jump (12.01m) and Jennah Carpenter ranks 11th in the high jump (1.68m) for 10.78 points. The women’s 4x100m relay team of Emily Collins, Anika Grogan, Kelly and Karissa Lindner ranks 12th in the NAIA (47.31) for 9.53 points.

UBC leads all teams in the NAIA with a No. 1 rating, and Eastern Oregon sits just ahead of LC State at No. 17. College of Idaho checked in at No. 21.
