LCSC Women’s Track and Field Holds Steady at No. 18

NEW ORLEANS, LA – LC State Women’s Track and Field held steady at No. 18 in the latest edition of the USTFCCCA Ratings Index on Wednesday. The Warriors totaled 133.27 points in and have four athletes ranked in the top 10 of their events.

Kea Stieglitz ranks No. 3 in the NAIA in javelin (42.30m) and earned 28.44 points in the index. Madigan Kelly bettered her time in the 100m hurdles (13.87) and ranks fifth for 24.18 points and also holds the No. 12 time in the 400m hurdles (1:03.22) for 9.76 points. Sydnie Zywina is fifth in the NAIA in the triple jump (11.97m) with 23.73 points, while Jennah Carpenter is ninth in the high jump (1.68m) with 15.14 points and 16th in the long jump (5.68m) with 5.50 points.

The women’s 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay teams both rank in the top 15 of the NAIA this season and combined for 20.22 points
