A Lewiston woman who, along with her mother, charged with the killing of her father, has been convicted.
55-year-old Kimberly Morrison was sentenced to 6-18 years in prison Friday morning for her role in the death of her 87-year-old father, following a plea agreement negotiated by the state and defense.
Morrison, along with her mother, 84-year-old Kay Morrison, were charged in the death of Kenneth Morrison, who is Kimberly’s father and Kay’s ex-husband. An investigation allegedly showed the two played a part in the drugging, suffocating and burning of the body of the man in their home in Lewiston.
Kimberly Morrison was given a minimum sentence of six years, plus an indeterminate period of up to eight years, for a maximum sentence of 14 years. She won’t be eligible for parole during the first six years.
