Traffic Stop Leads Deputies to Suspected Cocaine Dealer

The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspected drug dealer.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, deputies stopped a vehicle in the Pullman area where they learned the driver was in possession of cocaine.  During their investigation the deputies received information that 20-year-old Lance Dawson of Pullman, was selling cocaine.

Dawson was contacted by deputies at his residence where he was taken into custody without incident. The deputies were granted a search warrant for Dawson’s residence where they located numerous pre-packaged bags that are believed to contain cocaine.  They also located packaging material, scales, dispensing equipment, cash, and evidence that Dawson was selling large quantities of cocaine.

Additionally, 20-year-old Pullman woman resident Bridgette Ward, was also arrested and booked into the Whitman County Jail on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
