
Two people were injured following a two-vehicle crash along U.S. Highway 12 near Greer.
According to Idaho State Police, at 9:38 Saturday morning, a white Honda CRV, driven by a 72-year-old man, failed to maintain its lane while negotiating a curve near milepost 52 in Lewis County. The Honda struck a white Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 57-year-old woman. The driver of the Hyundai swerved, but the collision was unavoidable. Both drivers were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The roadway was closed and reduced to one lane for approximately 2.5 hours.
