Vista Outdoor has received another offer from MNC Capital to purchase Vista’s Outdoor Sporting Goods Segment.
It’s the second offer in two months after the Vista Outdoor Board of Directors rejected a cash offer for $35 per Vista share. The latest offer is an all-cash transaction for $37.50 per share.
According to a press release, Vista Outdoor’s Board has not made any determination with respect to the Revised MNC offer within the framework contemplated by the existing merger agreement with Czechoslovak Group, which remains in effect, nor has it changed its recommendation in support of the acquisition of its Sporting Products business by CSG.
Vista Outdoor is the parent company of more than three dozen brands that design, manufacture and market sporting and outdoor products. Brands include Bushnell, CamelBak, Bushnell Golf, Foresight Sports, Fox Racing, Bell Helmets, Camp Chef, Simms Fishing, QuietKat, Stone Glacier, Federal Ammunition, Remington Ammunition and more.
