A Moscow man died following a single-vehicle crash last (Mon) night on Sand Road south of Pullman.
According to a news release from the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene around 9:30 p.m.
The sheriff’s office says 26-year-old Trystan Ries was traveling eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of the vehicle and veered off the roadway into a ditch on the opposite side where the vehicle rolled several times before coming to a stop.
Ries, who was not believed to have been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene after life-saving measures were ineffective.
